DSS Invitation: Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage Slowdown On Social Media

Nigerian musicians reportedly invited by the Department of State Service (DSS), have kept mute about the invitation.
Recall that there were speculations that Mavin Record boss, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage had been invited for questioning by the DSS over comments posted on their social media account, criticising the administration of President Muhamamdu Buhari.
According to the reports, the entertainers were interrogated at the Lagos office of the DSS. They were reportedly warned to be careful with their posts on social media.
Tiwa Savage’s invitation was said to be related to her social media campaign, titled; ‘WeAreTired’ which is against the incessant rape cases in Nigeria and political utterance against Buhari’s government.
The duo of Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage had criticised Buhari-led administration over the state of the nation.
Singers, Yemi Alade, and Waje were also allegedly summoned by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Muazu.
Though the entertainers have kept mute about the invitation, their social media presence has also reduced since the invitation became a talking point, as Tiwa Savage has focused more on the promotion of her recently released album, ‘Celia’.
The only musician to have reacted to the report is Don Jazzy. The music executive took to his Twitter page to share an eight-seconds video of himself speaking on the issue.
“What’s the meaning of quizzes o?” He asked as he laughed.
