Legendary flutist, society bigwig and one of the key members of the Performing Musicians Association (PMAN) alleged to have hijacked the association’s landed property in Abuja, Tee Mac Itsueli, may have finally met his waterloo as the Police Headquarters in Abuja grill him into submission.

According to a report just received and confirmed by the Interim Caretaker Committee boss of the association, Pretty Okafor, Tee Mac who hitherto claimed that the document he possessed was legitimate and binding on the said land, has confessed that it was actually obtained through the back door.

‘’This happened at the Police Headquarters on Thursday, June 2 2016 where the case is being investigated. I went in company of the General Secretary, Kenny George, our lawyers and Zaki Azzay, an exco member. After taking them through the documents and evidences before us, as well as the forged ones, Tee Mac failed to tender anything to prove his case,’’ Okafor revealed.

Consequently, he continued, Tee Mac overwhelmed by the development, was said to have been visibly agitated, shaken and instantly reeled out the names of people he said perpetrated the act with him.

According to Okafor whose administration last week set the timetable for the next Delegates Conference, the man variously accused of master-minding the association’s endless crisis, later confessed to the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) that he was truly guilty of the offence behind closed doors as he pleaded for.

‘’He fell on his knees thereafter and told us that he needs to apologise to the entire entertainment industry that he was sorry and that it was a mistake and the handiwork of the devil, adding that he was actually pressurised to open a company called PMAN so as to use the certificate to claim the land,’’ Pretty Okafor added.

The investigations are continuing with a fresh summon on the accomplices to appear before the investigators at the Police Headquarters within the week.

The allegation is that he fraudulently registered PMAN which stands for Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria as Performing Musician Association of Nigeria to perfect the act. It thus fuels the suspicion that the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and others may have connived with him.
