Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has met with another governor amidst speculations of his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He met with Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State, a man he has severally described as his personal friend.
However, it is uncertain if the meeting that held at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja is politically motivated or not, as Governor Matawalle is a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Meanwhile, speculation of defection to the APC has also trailed the Zamfara State Governor, however, he has repeatedly denied the rumours.
Fani-Kayode wrote on Twitter: “I had the honour, pleasure, and privilege of spending Thursday evening with my friend and brother Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State in his Abuja home.
“We had a frank, cordial, and productive meeting about the way forward for our nation. Thanks be to God.”
