Death Of Sylvester Oromoni Turns Official Police Business

The death of 12-year-old late Sylvester Oromoni, the student of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos killed by bullies has officially become a police business.
This comes after the father of the deceased officially reported his death at the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID) in Yaba.
Late Sylvester Oromoni died on Tuesday, November 30, after he was allegedly assaulted by his seniors in the school dormitory.
Oromoni who was accompanied by some persons believed to be his family members as well as lawyers from Falana and Falana Chambers arrived at the SCIID office on Wednesday, December 8.
On arrival, the aggrieved father registered his presence at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State CIID, Fayoade Adegoke, before heading to the Homicide Section of the department to write his statement.
His visit comes as authorities at the Lagos State Police Command conclude plan to carry out a post-mortem on late Sylvester’s body in Delta State.
