Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has maintained an unusual calm singer being granted bail over theft and assault charges.
Recall that Portable was arrested by policemen from the Ogun State Police Command after he failed to honour five invitations for interrogation from the police.
When he was subsequently arrested, he said that he never knew that the men who came to arrest him in the first instance were policemen, according to they neither had identification cards or an arrest warrant.
Portable was subsequently charged to court where he was granted bail and transported to the Ilaro Correctional Center, Ogun State having failed to meet his bail conditions.
The singer eventually perfected his bail bond and was released on the evening he was committed to the correctional center. However, since his release, Portable has maintained a very low profile, avoid his usual drama and controversies.
