It depicts the backwardness and lack of excitement of the town of Nazareth until it found favour and witnessed a turnaround.
For the people of Ogun State, their proverbial Nazareth appears to have found favour, as the pattern of leadership which they have become used to under the government of Governor Dapo Abiodun appears to be changing.
In the past couple of years, the reports emanating from the state has been about underdevelopment, economic challenges amongst others.
However, a wind of change appears to be blowing into the state with the changing personality of its first citizen.
With several arrests made from the recent EndSARS protest causing tension in the country, many had expected Governor Abiodun to pursue the prosecution of protesters arrested in his state. However, he made a detour opting to release the trio being prosecuted by his state thus winning the admiration of a few people.
