After a while working underground, Afro-pop singer, Daayuur real name Dapo Aiyegbusi has returned with a new single entitled ‘Obi.’
The single is a sequel to his last effort titled ‘You Carry,’ a song that enjoyed massive positive reviews.
The United Kingdom-based Nigerian singer and songwriter who mastered the ropes of music at Amuwo Odofin Baptist Church, before relocating to England where he has become established, performing with the likes of musician Nelly, Akon among others revealed his debut album will be dropping soon.
According to the sonorous singer who boasts of immense talent, the body of work which has the professional touch of international producers such as Oge-Beat and Big Marcus will have among others songs such as ‘Gbe E Lole,’ ‘You Carry,’ ‘African Woman,’ and ‘Lonely.’
“My dream of becoming a great musician is gradually coming to reality and I am sure that my forthcoming album will not only announce me, but it will greatly impact Nigeria’s music industry in a positive way,” Daayuur told Juke Box.
Despite his success, Daayuur has not been carried away as he continues to work on completing his debut album.
