Famous Nigerian show promoter, Samlarry Eletu, has distanced himself from singer Portable.
This follows an indicting statement by the singer that he founded One Million Boys and Ajah Boys, both gang groups responsible for terrorizing residents of different areas of Lagos.
In a now-deleted viral video, the singer mentioned the name of Samlarry as one of the people who can verify his claim. He also stated that socialites Abu Abel knew him back in the day.
The singer, who spoke in Yoruba said, “Open your ears and hear me, you’ve heard about Ajah Boys, One Million Boys, I’m their founder.”
However, following an order by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba that the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi should investigate the claim and take necessary legal action, Samlarry has been forced to deny Portable.
