Justice I. Buba of the Federal High Court Ikoyi, Lagos has lifted the injunction filed by record label Chocolate City against its estranged artiste, Brymo.

According to  Justice Buba, the singer needs to continue his career while the case is before the court.

In his words: ‘Since the plaintiff (Chocolate City) can be compensated at a later date, the defendant is free to carry out his duties as a singer so that none of the parties will be at a disadvantage’

Brymo, decided to leave the label when he realised that all that he was promised was not fulfilled and he couldn’t promote himself.

Brymo signed a five-year and three-album contract with Chocolate City, which was due to expire on April 13, 2016.
