A Lagos High Court has found Peter Nielsen guilty of killing his wife and daughter.
Nielsen who was married to a Nigerian singer Zainab Alizee killed her and their 3-year-old daughter at their Banana Island residence, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Delivering judgement on the case on Friday, May 20, Justice Bolanle Okikiolu-Ighile sentenced Nielsen to death by hanging.
Justice Okikiolu-Ighile convicted Nielsen, 54, on two counts of murder brought against him by the Lagos State Government.
Recall that the Lagos State Government had accused Nielsen of smothering Zainab and Petra to death at 3.45 a.m. on April 5, 2018, at No. 4, Flat 17, Bella Vista Tower, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Nielsen was arraigned on June 13, 2018, and pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of murder contrary to Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
