A car bomb scene
A vehicle laden with explosives went off on Sunday night in Sabon Gari area of Kano State, leaving a lot of residents dead.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred at about 10pm, as residents returned home on the night.
The explosion razed a crowded entertainment spot, located on an ever busy road leaving many dead and several others wounded.
The explosion, subsequently led to a vehicular gridlock, stampede and multiple accidents.
The police spokesperson in the State, Musa Majiya, confirmed the incident, but said investigation will soon commence to unveil those behind the bomb.
