Buhari Blames Past Leaders For Nigeria’s Trouble

President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has blamed the country’s former leaders for the troubles the nation is facing.
According to the President, past administrations from 1999-2015 are responsible for the near destruction of Nigeria.
President Buhari stated this in his Independence Day speech, adding that his government had done much better even with fewer economic resources.
The president gave his leadership of Nigeria a pass mark in the face of unstable economic resources. The president claimed that the past governments lacked the courage to make the needed changes he is effecting in the country to save it from total collapse.
President Buhari specifically noted that past administration from 1999 to 2015, dragged the nation to what he described as near destruction.
He said: “Those in the previous governments from 1999 – 2015 who presided over the near destruction of the country have now the impudence to attempt to criticize our efforts.”
President Buhari asserted that the federal government under him has achieved much more than other leaders put together.
