A Lagos politician whose personality has been severally tainted remains Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
In recent months, the jocular man has been trailed by several negative allegations, tilting towards fraud.
Recently, he was the guest of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as the agency sort to know if there was any fact in the allegations trailing him.
Though he has severally denied the allegations, members of his assembly have also given him a vote of confidence.
Despite all of this, the wicked speculation of fraud has just refused to disappear.
The situation has thus seen friends and associates of the man occasionally trying to correct the erroneous impression to no avail.
This has thus left a dent of a sort of the person of the Speaker as his detractors continue in their attempt to bring him down at all cost.
A gust of fresh air however blew in the direction of the man recently when he had a reason to be jolly.
Obasa turned a year older, as he became 48 years old on Wednesday, November 11, celebrating the day with visitations and a surprise party put together by his associates at his Ikeja, GRA, Lagos residence.
