The curfew in Lagos State has been reviewed once again.
Initially, a 24-hour curfew between 6: pm and 8: am daily, it has now been reviewed to last between at 8:pm and 6:am daily.
The latest review was done on Sunday, October 25, according to the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso.
In a statement signed by Omotosho, he said: “The curfew in Lagos State has been reviewed. Restriction time is now 8 pm to 6 am. Lagosians are enjoined to plan their journey times as they go about their lawful businesses. Public schools remain shut till further notice.”
Recall that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had declared a 24-hour curfew in the state to help curtail the large scale violence following the hijacked #EndSARS protests against police brutality and extra-judicial killings.
