Boko Haram Abducts Travellers On Damaturu-Maiduguri Road
Boko Haram insurgents have kidnapped some passengers along the Damaturu-Maiduguri road.
They were abducted on Thursday, February 25, in the Jakana axis of the road.
The terrorists had earlier attacked the army’s 28 Task Force Brigade in the area but were repelled. After this, they turned on travellers plying the road.
A military source said: “While they were retreating to the bush, they got to the highway and abducted some passengers they ran into the bush with.”
