Pastor Enoch Adeboye has spoken on the ongoing rape scandal between Busola Dakolo and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

Prior to now, the respected man of God had maintained sealed lips on the issue.

Speaking during one of his recent ministrations, Adeboye said a lot of people wondered why he had been silent on the alleged rape. He went on to explain that the Redeemed Christian Church of God belongs to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Peticostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), adding that whatever position the body takes is what he has said.

“People have said why don’t you talk, but I said that I am under authority. Redeemed Christian Church of God belongs to CAN and belongs to PFN. In CAN, we have a president, in PFN, we have a president. Whatever they said is what I said. That is why I keep my mouth shut,” Adeboye said.

The man of God however went into the Holy Bible to enlighten young and up and coming misters of God, adding that whoever criticizes him would be criticizing the Bible. According to him, his decision to go into the Bible was because he felt compelled to say something.

Meanwhile, the CAN has spoken on the alleged rape. A statement, from the body is said to have condemned any case of rape in “strong terms”, saying it does not matter who is involved.
