Nigerian music artiste, Asake has made history with his first Grammy Awards nomination.
The “Lonely At The Top” singer is one of the artistes nominated in the 2024 Grammy Awards.
Asake and Olaide’s ‘Amapiano’ was nominated in the maiden Best African Music Performance category along with other Nigerian artistes such as Davido, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr.
Songs nominated in the category are Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys’, Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’, Davido and Musa Keys’ ‘Unavailable’, and Tyla’s ‘Water’
The 66th Grammy Awards will take place on February 4, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
