APC Expels Senator, Reps Member From Party

Gombe State All Progressive Congress (APC) has expelled Senator Amos Bulus (Gombe South) and Hon Yunusa Abubakar, the member representing Yamaltu Deba Federal Constituency in the National Assembly Abuja.

This follows the expulsion of Senator Danjuma Goje by the party in the state for alleged anti-party activities.
Senator Goje was the only APC Senator who won in the last Presidential and National Assembly election held on February 25 and was returned for the fourth term in the Senate.
The APC Gombe lost two Senate seats, Gombe North and South; and five House of Representatives members out of six in the Presidential/National Assembly election.
