Things are not looking any better for the Managing Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Dr Femi Olaleye.
This is as a special offense and domestic violence court in Lagos has remanded him in Ikoyi prison pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.
Recall that Dr. Olaleye was arraigned by the Lagos State government on Wednesday, November 30.
The medical doctor pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of defilement of a child and sexual assault by penetration which was brought on him by the prosecutor.
The 57-year-old medical doctor allegedly defiled his wife’s 15-year-old niece.
A letter of notification titled, ‘State of Lagos vs Dr Olufemi Olaleye,’ signed by the Principal State Counsel for the DPP, Oluwagbenga Alagbe, and made available to journalists on Sunday in Lagos, said that the arraignment would be before Justice Ramon Oshodi of the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja.
