To swim in trouble waters is peculiar with Nigerian politicians.
It is safe to say that a non-controversial Nigerian politician is equivalent to an angel.
But there are no angels amongst politicians. This position has been confirmed by distraught members of the Ondo State All Progressive Congress (APC).
In recent times, the APC in the state has been all about one crisis after the other with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu not isolated from it all.
Not in the good books of key members of his party at the national level, Akeredolu also has issues with his party members at the grassroots level.
His trouble with the Unity Forum and the recent resignation of his Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi are pointers to trouble days being ahead.
