Emerging information has it that the corpse of the deceased was deposited at Toks Funeral Home, Alausa, Ikeja last night.
Family members and close political associates converged at the funeral house early today as arrangement was made for the movement of the corpse to Ibadan, Oyo State where he will be buried according to Islamic rites.
A low-key burial is what is expected as the deceased who is rumoured to have died as a result of multiple failed organs is also known to have been infected with the COVID-19 virus, although he was reported to have tested negative but failed to recover from a lung surgery.
Since his death was confirmed, party loyalists and supporters have been paying condolence visits to his Ibadan residence with the place turning a mecca of a sort.
