A Percentage Of My Album Sales Will Go To Poor Children-Majek Fashek

Legendary musician, Majek Fashek, has revealed that his forthcoming eight tracks album which features numerous artistes including 2Baba will bring the Nigerian economy out of recession.

The singer, revealed this during a Press Conference which held in Lagos, on Thursday, August 17.

According to Majek, poor Nigerian children will also get a percentage of the sales of the album titled ‘Weep Not Children”.

He also used the opportunity of the event to unveil a celebration which will celebrate his 30 years as a musician.

Speaking at the event, the sensational musician told Juke Box that the celebration will hold on Saturday, September 10, at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.”

Adding his voice to the celebration, Majek’s manager Uzoma Day Omenka appealed to corporate sponsors, highly placed individuals and the Lagos State government to see the event as a celebration of a living legend. “If Americans can celebrate Majek Fashek, I don’t see any reason why we can’t do same now that he is alive. We don’t have to wait till when he is dead before we identify with him,” he said.
