He stated this on Sunday, June 25, while reacting to the commission’s conduction of the February 25, 2023 and March 18 Presidential and state governorship elections.
Speaking on Channels TV, he said;
‘’INEC is a disappointment as an agency. The INEC chairman and its executives, I am totally disappointed in them. I do not trust any process that will come from them.”
When asked what he will do if he had the power to effect any change, he said;
‘’I will remove the INEC chairman immediately for just not delivering on the electoral process, for creating this kind of system where the elections that happened in this country, the whole international community that observed it said something was wrong with this election. This election did not meet the standard.”
