Like A Star, Ayodele Subair Shines

For many, being presented with an award is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of life.

However, for Ayodele Subair, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), an award is an opportunity to do more work.

A hard worker, Ayodele’s achievements as the boss of LIRS was recently celebrated by the Joint Tax Board (JTB).

This happened at the 149th meeting of the JTB which was held between Monday, December 13, and Tuesday, December 14, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

At the event, it was a shower of praises for the soft-spoken and amiable Subair who was honoured with an award of recognition for his contribution towards the actualisation of the JTB’s vision.

Subair, who was presented with his award at a colourful gala night held at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, to mark the end of the two-day meeting hosted by the Lagos State Government and LIRS, was all smiles as he received the plaque.

Not one to enjoy the ovation alone, he appreciated those who worked with him to make the award a reality thus showcasing his simplicity.
