Marital bliss is often not for the restless soul. But maturity and age have a unique way of teaching people the true essence of life.
This appears the case with Gumsu Abacha-Buni, daughter of the former military president, late Sani Abacha.
Gumsu has no doubt had an unpleasant experience with marriage, after the nuptial knot she tied with Cameroonian billionaire businessman, Bayero Fadil Mohamadou crashed in 2020.
As a young lady, she had gotten married to Mohamadou, but the highly celebrated nuptial which had several notable individuals in attendance crashed unceremoniously after enjoying an initial smooth sail.
A more mature Gumsu subsequently found solace in the arms of former Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni having divorced her first husband.
Her most recent attempt at marriage with Buni appears to have become a success, as she has since settled to a more conservative life with her new husband.
