Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi Continues To Show Uncommon Wisdom
It is not enough for traditional leaders to be respected as the second in command to the gods; they are also expected to lead the lifestyle.
One man who is aware of this fact is the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
Ordinarily regarded as one of the youngest monarchs in Nigeria, he has indeed grown in his capacity as the spiritual Head of the Oduduwa race worldwide.
Evidence of his growth and uncommon wisdom came to the fore recently when the Arole Oduduwa urged politicians promoting the presidential ambition of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to deploy wisdom and avoid arbitrary use of power in their activities.
Receiving the team at his palace under the auspices of the South West Agenda (SWAGA), the Ojaja II exhibited an uncommon depth of knowledge, enlightening the group that the dream which they seek could only be realised through unity.
