Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi has revealed why he dumped the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Recall that Umahi recently defected to the APC having been silent about speculations about his defection.
Speaking to journalists in Abakaliki about his defection, Umahi said that he moved to the APC because of the injustice the southeast region has suffered by the PDP, adding that he has no regrets about moving to the APC.
Umahi’s defection comes after weeks of speculation that he had taken the decision to dump the opposition party.
Further, Umahi noted that he was not offered any deal for the presidential ticket of the party to be zoned to the southeast by the APC or any member of the party.
