Yup Edochie has slammed the Nigerian movie industry popular as Nollywood, describing it as a gathering of crappy actors, actress and directors.
Edochie stated this while stating that the quality of movies produced in industry had dropped.
Slamming the industry, the actor stated that the industry can’t continue as it is, as he urged all seasoned Nollywood practitioners to come together to revive it.
“The quality of our home videos has dropped so much. Lots of crappy actors/actresses, crappy directors.
We can’t continue like this.
“To all seasoned Nollywood practitioners, pls let’s revive it. People love our content all over the world. We just need to step up the quality, ” Edochie wrote in post on Twitter.
