Why I Wrote Orente For Simi-Adekunle Gold

Nigerian musician, Adekunle Gold is known for his evergreen love songs.
One of such hits is the popular song ‘Orente’ released in 2015.
Years after releasing the video of the song, the singer has revealed that he wrote it for his wife, Simi.
The 33 years old singer celebrated his wife who turned 32 on Sunday, April 19, revealing in a social media post that he wrote the song for her years back when he was still struggling to find his way through life.
Sharing a special birthday message on Instagram, Adekunle Gold wrote: “Shalla to my one and only. Na you be my Alobam. Simi you’re one in a million…Happy birthday to you, my one in a lifetime. Love you…”
