Why I Am Giving Out Scholarships-Patoranking
Not all musicians remember to give back to the society that made them.
However, one musician who has not forgotten how it started for him is Patoranking.
Patoranking has never hidden the fact that he sold rat poison on the street of Lagos State and even worked as a bricklayer.
As a mark of his appreciation to the society that made him, the Afro Reggae and Dancehall act has given out scholarships to 10 students, via his educational foundation.
Patoranking revealed the details of the scholarship on social media via an Instagram post, adding that his educational foundation will sponsor the students through university.
The musician’s scholarship programme is in partnership with African Leadership University (ALU).
