Pears In A Pod: Like Maurice Iwu, Like Abdullahi Babalele

Freedom is never appreciated until when it is stripped. This is indeed true.
The duo of Maurice Iwu, former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and Abdullahi Babalele, the son-in-law of Atiku Abubakar would agree.
Recently remanded for finance-related issues, they were both stripped of privileges of mingling and associating freely.
While Iwu was in remand for an alleged N1.23bn fraud, Babalele was held for his role in a money laundering case said to be in the tune of $140,000.
Now free, both men will appreciate their newfound freedom.
