Once a representative of Kwara Central both at the Senate and House of Representatives, the woman fell out of political contention when she lost the gubernatorial election in 2011.
The loss didn’t just mean the death of her political structure; it also tossed her into oblivion.
Working underground for years, many have wondered if the woman would ever find an opportunity to return to politics.
Nominated as one of the ministerial nominees for President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term in office, Saraki would have the opportunity to regain her relevance once again when confirmed a substantial minister by the Senate.
