Why We Suspended Airtel Listing On NSE Indefinitely-Oscar Onyema

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), has explained why it postponed indefinitely the listing of Airtel Africa.
The listing had been billed for Friday, July 5, was suspended due to procedural issues we have learnt.
Explaining the reason for the suspension, CEO of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Oscar Onyema, while responding to questions at the facts before the listing (FBTL) of Airtel Africa said the listing was suspended because of procedural issues.
His words: ” We just have some procedural issues responsible for the delay. We will advice appropriately when it will happen”.
On the FBTL, Managing Director and CEO of Airtel Nigeria, Segun Ogunsanya, said the telecom company’s share price of N363 is appropriately priced considering the fact that what is being offer is “a whole basket of orange and not one”.
