Free Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Burna Boy Begs EFCC
In the wake of Ruggedman’s celebration of Naira Marley’s arrest, Burna Boy is appealing for the release of the singer and his compatriots Zlatan Ibile and Rahman Jago.
The trio were arrested in Zlatan Ibile’s house in Lekki, Lagos State during an early morning raid on Friday, May 10.
In an interview, Ruggedman was quoted to have said that he was happy that Naira Marley was arrested. According to him, his arrest would serve as a deterrent to other musicians who are either Yahoo Boys or propagating the cyber fraud message.
In a social media post on Saturday, May 11, Burna Boy appealed to the EFCC to free the artists, adding that the absence of Zlatan Ibile, the Zanku crooner at his had ruined his day.
“You see am now? No Zanku for my show Today. My Day is ruined. @officialefcc Na beg i Dey beg una. PLEASE FREE da guys.”
