Lucky Igbinedion’s Loss

A popular prayer among parents is that their children outlive them. Unfortunately, it has become a sad reality that the erstwhile Governor of Edo State, Lucky Igbinedion, has been cheated by death with the loss of his second son, Osaretin.
Sunday, February 16, was an unpalatable day for the man, as news filtered in that the angel of death had visited his family taking away his son and his nephew, Esosa Oyemwense.
The car the duo was driving reportedly collided with a freight truck leading to their death.
Osaretin, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration had a degree in marketing and a minor in economics. He also bagged a Masters degree in International Management from the Northeastern University. Indeed, this is a sad time for the Igbinedion family and Osaretin is Igbinedion’s loss.
