INEC Reveals Number Of Eligible Voters For 2019 General Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has revealed that 84,004,084 would take part in the 2019 elections.
Yakubu said this while presenting the National Register of Voters to Political Parties in Abuja.
According to him, ‘for the 2019 General Elections, the official total number of registered voters is: 84,004,084q. ( Eighty Four Million, Four Thousand, and Eighty Four)’.
The commission also said 850,000 personnel, including ad hoc staff, would be trained for the 2019 general elections.
The first phase of the training which began in Calabar today Monday, January 7, involved State Training Officers and Assistant Training Officers from the 36 states of the country, and they will in turn train others at various levels.
