Assasination Attempt: How I Escaped Death-Ekweremadu

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has revealed how he and his family escaped death from an assasination attempt.
Ekweremadu revealed how armed men evaded security personnel attached to him and got into his house in Apo, Abuja at about 4:am.
Narrating the incident to his colleagues during plenary, he revealed how one of the assasins was arrested and handed over to the police.
The Deputy Senate President while narrating the incident wondered why the police didn’t react spontaneously to his distress call.
Meanwhile, the Senate has instructed its Committee on Police Affairs to investigate the alleged assassination attempt.The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, mandated the committee to follow up on the investigations by the police.
