In their heydays as commissioners in Lagos State, the duo of Dele Alake and Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi held sway as decision makers.
While Afikuyomi was at one time a senator before becoming Commissioner of Tourism in Lagos State, Alake was a former Commissioner of Information and Strategy and later the Managing Director of Television Continental (TVC).
However, times have changed for these men, as they no longer carry the larger than life image.
Sources close to www.theoctopusnews.com revealed that the new meeting place for the two men is Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant, Ikoyi, Lagos State, where Afikuyomi owns a wine shop. The two men are said to be very close, as they are always in each other’s company, drinking wine
