Tope Tedela Shines In Surulere

Tales of how Tope Tadela dazzled in the movie, ‘Surulere’ is what has taken over town.
The 2014 African Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA), Best Actor, has gone from interpreting the role of Lala/ Jude Odaro in the movie “A Mile from Home” to Kyle Stevens Adedoyin a suave metrosexual in his latest effort.
Speaking on his role in the movie, ‘Surulere’ Tadela said: “I have never played a role like this in my entire life and it is a departure from anything I’ve done. The costumes certainly helped me get into character.”
‘Surulere’ is a romantic comedy developed and produced by Mildred Okwo, written by Richard Odilu and has Rita Dominic as Executive producer for the Audrey Silva Company.
The movie is set in Lagos, Nigeria and focuses on Seun Ajayi’s life as an insignificant graduate trainee in a fictional agency, a serial debtor and a desperate young man eager to get ahead.
‘Surulere’ also features Beverley Naya, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Linda Ejiofor and rising stars Enyinna Nwigwe, Gregory Ojefua and Bikiya Graham-Douglas
