That penchant of Ifeanyi Uba
“I don’t possess these thoughts I have, they possess me. I don’t possess these feelings I have, they obsess me.”
The above quote of Ashly Lorenzana nearly describes the passion with which Capital Oil boss, Ifeayin Uba, campaigned for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the recently concluded Presidential election.
Uba shocked top management staffs of his organisation recently when days to the election and in a bid to shore up awareness on Jonathan’s campaign he locked out all of his employees except his gatemen.
The staff had resumed work and were going about their various businesses when Uba came in and asked that they all hit the street and ensure adequate awareness for his candidate Jonathan.
On the said day, business in Capital Oil, Uba’s most popular business outfit, was brought to a halt, as the gatemen kept turning visitors back.
Interestingly, each time Uba passionately campaigns for something he ends up losing.
