***Party To Name Replacement
Doyin Okupe has announced his withdrawal as the running mate of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
According to Okupe, he submitted a letter of withdrawal to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Furthermore, he disclosed that a replacement will be announced shortly by the Chairman of Labour Party.
In a post he shared on Twitter, the Director-General of Peter Obi Campaign Organisation tweeted;
“This afternoon I submitted my withdrawal letter from the position of the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party to INEC. A replacement will be announced by d national chairman of d party shortly. I feel greatly blessed to hv been part of the foundation of success 4 the LP.”
