17 Years After, Gbenga Adeboye’s Son Writes Tribute To His Father

It has been 17 years since broadcaster and comedian, Gbenga Adeboye died.

His son, Gbenga Adeboye Oladipupo took to Twitter to write a tribute for him.

The younger Gbenga who goes by the name of Gbenga Adeboye Oladipupo Igwe Elijah on Twitter expressed his emotion telling his dad that though dead, his legacy lives on.

He wrote: “It’s 17 years today Dad. The legend of all time. The four years we spent together on earth was wonderful. I remember every moment. Your legacy lives on Pops. Keep on resting in perfect peace Gbenga-Adeboye Funwontan Pastor Oluwo Abefe.”

Gbenga Adeboye was revered among broadcasters for his ingenuity. Born in Odeomu, Osun State on September 30, 1959, he died of a kidney-related disease on April 30, 2003. He was a singer, comedian, radio presenter, and master of ceremony.
