Zanku Album: Why I Shunned Naira Marley-Zlatan Ibile

Zanku crooner, Zlatan Ibile, has revealed why Naira Marley was not part of the artistes featured on his debut album.

Before now, the release of the Zanku album, music pundits had considered Naira Marley a good friend of Zlatan Ibile, with the ‘Bolanle’ singer even confirming his loyalty after they were arrested and detained for alleged fraud.

Explaining why the ‘Opotoyi’ was missing from his debut body of work titled ‘Zanku’; Zlatan Ibile said that the decision was not borne out of any animosity between them.

“Everybody knows that Naira Marley is my good friend, I have been making music from the beginning of this year, and the reason why Naira Marley is not in this album is because there is no reason. He is my friend; we are going to continue doing more songs,” Zlatan Ibile said.

The ‘Zanku’ album which has songs such ‘Wake Up’, ‘Yeye Boyfriend’, ‘Sunita’, ‘Love& Gain’, ‘Super Power’ features top acts including Davido, Patoranking, Burna Boy and Tiwa Savage.
