Why I Said Travelling To The East Is Primitive – Chike
Emerging music sensation, Chike, has revealed why he is opposed to travelling to the East for the end of year festivities.
The singer had recently taken to Twitter to rant about why he thought travelling to the east in December is a primitive behaviour.
Though he later deleted the tweet, he also explained the reason for his rant.
The ‘Beautiful People’ singer blamed his outburst on emotion, adding that he had just lost two friends to a road accident while returning from the village.
“I believe my now-deleted tweet was misunderstood as it was an emotional one.
“This morning, two friends died on their road trip back from the village.
“I think the roads are too risky for everyone to be headed home and back.
“If you have been hurt, I sincerely apologize,” he wrote while apologizing.
Chike, who has credit for at least three albums namely “Boo Of The Booless”, “Dance Of The Booless Vol 1” and “American Greed” is an alumni of the now defunct Project Fame West Africa and Nigerian Voice.
