Who Is After Aliko Dangote?

There seems a deliberate and callous campaign to paint the Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote in negative light.
In recent times, detractors of the man have been brazenly peddling negative rumour about him.
First, there was the speculation that Dangote was obtaining foreign exchange from Nigerian banks to finance his businesses in other African countries.
As if that was not bad enough, then came another speculation that Dangote and the Federal Government were planning to import genetically modified rice.
The latest of the silly speculations that have been making the rounds since this campaign of calumny commenced is the rumoured death of the businessman.
Last week, there was a rumour that Dangote had died in Germany where he had gone for treatment, a speculation he personally debunked via his twitter handle.
The series of negative campaigns have led a lot of people asking who are behind these strings of false and shameless attack on the man who seems to be single-handedly pioneering the rebirth of the Nigerian economy; while also helping the internally displaced people in the Boko Haram ravaged North-Eastern part of Nigeria.
