Unknown Gunmen Kidnap Commuters In Abuja

Report emerging indicates that unknown gunmen have kidnapped some commuters in Abuja.
The men suspected to be bandits kidnapped three people
A statement issued by the FCT Police Command on Thursday, November 26 revealed that the bandits wanted to kidnap 19 people, but police operatives thwarted the operation.
It further stated that three people were unfortunate to have been taken away by the gunmen.
The incident occurred at the popular Pei-leilei road along Kwali axis in the capital city.
According to the police, efforts are underway to rescue the three victims in the custody of the gunmen.
Part of the statement read: “The command reassures members of the public of its unflinching commitment to deploy proactive crime-fighting measures to ensure the security of lives and property in FCT ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebration.”
