Tinubu Slams Ambode, Says Lagos Was Heading In Wrong Direction Under Your Reign

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Friday, March 5, condemned the administration of the ex-governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony of a flyover bridge at Pen Cinema, Tinubu said the state under Ambode was heading in the wrong direction.
Tinubu said the drift became noticeable between 2017-2018, adding that the ugly development led to the decision by political leaders to bring Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat on board.
The former Lagos State governor stated that though there was scepticism about Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat, they have not disappointed the people of the state.
Tinubu was quoted to have said he and other leaders are proud that the Sanwo-Olu team is now steering the state in the right direction. Further, he commended the Lagos cabinet for its various achievements and called the team “great performers and doers.”
