No less than three people have been found dead in a hotel in Elele Alimini in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The incident happened on Monday, December 13, after a generator was left inside the hotel overnight by the manager of the facility.
Some other people were also found unconscious in the same hotel after inhaling smoke from the generator.
The hotel manager was also amongst those who were found dead.
A member of the local vigilante group in the area Isa Muhammad said other victims have been rushed to the hospital.
The owner of the hotel has been invited by the police for questioning.
