Standing Ovation As Biodun Fatoyinbo Returns To Pulpilt

After weeks of being off the pulpilt due to multiple allegations of rape, Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) has made his return.
Recall that he announced via his Instagram on July 1 that he will be taking a “leave of absense from the pulpit of the church”, adding that stepping down will “enable me to submit to the concerns of my spiritual mentors as they consider all the issues that have been raised against me.”
Barely a month after taking his leave of absence, Fatoyinbo has returned to the pulpit.
A video shared on Sunday, August 4, by members of his church in Abuja showed members rejoicing and giving him a rousing welcome as he mounted the pulpit. The screaming went on for quite a while before the church calmed and he began preaching about “sudden victories”.
Key points from his preaching included the facts like:
As a Christian, you must face opposition. If God who is God, holy and faithful as he has enemies, you are sure going to also.
He went on to say that: “But one thing we ought to note as believers is that; Christ has won the victory for us, so when the fight comes, we fight from victory and not for victory.
“This is that which the Holy Spirit described as a good fight. Fight a good fight of faith with a winning mentality ‘cos we don’t fight for victory but we fight from victory. ”
Biodun Fatoyinbo’s preaching also touched on Ephesian 6:12. He said:
The enemy is smart, the first step he takes to bring down a believer doing exploits is an investigation. He goes into an investigation to find what can bring you down.
