A viral claim that Skales whose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng divorced his wife Precious Hassanity because of a comment she made on his social media post has been debunked by the singer.

The singer took to X to thrash the false report, describing it as “really evil” and “not fair.”
*I have never made such statement and this is false… pls stop spreading lies,” he wrote while reposting the fake quote by @VERITY_HQ.
The now-viral tweet falsely quoted Skales as saying:
“I divorced my wife because of a comment she made on my post and I don’t regret it… People cannot be mocking your husband’s music career… and you join.”
The singer firmly denied ever making such a statement and warned blogs and media outlets to stop fabricating stories about his personal life.
